BRT has the experience and capacity to perform Stock Condition Surveys for Housing Association property portfolios. This value added service allows Housing Associations to create a medium term strategy for property maintenance and longer term and more capital intensive refurbishment programmes.
Building Control and Planning Application requires the collation of all relevant and detailed information on each scheme or property in question. The applications also require the production of scale drawings that can vary greatly in detail required.
BRT act as agent on behalf of Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Energy Providers and numerous other clients in performing this role.

RdSAP, SBEM & EPC Calculations
This is carried out pre, during, and post installation. In essence Technical Monitoring ensures that contractors are using appropriate materials and that works are carried out to necessary standards. The Company’s skilled workforce has demonstrated a great understanding of product type and usage and also carbon scoring, all of which are essential when offering Technical Monitoring services.
BRT provides thermal imaging of properties before and after insulation measures have been applied, which provide a visual image of the improvements delivered through a variety of insulation works.
Suitability Surveying & Scheme Validation
Property assessment surveying takes place when BRT have been commissioned by an Energy Provider to review an area, and draw some basic conclusions on the type of constructions, and possible improvement options available on properties in that location.
Essentially, this process is designed at the front end of any proposal to provide a “designed” carbon score and suggested approaches to schemes for clients to understand their potential Return vs Spend for a project.
